Located on the road to Kawah Putih, this is a great rest stop for lunch with the lovely countryside air and serene atmosphere. It was a joy to dine overseeing the pond that is well stocked with free spirited fishes swimming about.

As Singaporeans, we are always on the hunt for good food. We scouted Tjendana bistro on our trip to Bandung and it was a great choice. Pocket friendly prices relative to our Singapore dollar, this restaurant serves up quality Zi Char style dishes in a classy setting. Being chinese speaking, Bahasa is a challenge for me but the English menu really helps to make the ordering process a breeze.With all the ticks in place, there is no reason not to visit the restaurant so off we went!

The korean wave has shown its might and extended its reach into the West Java archipelago. Korean restaurants, unheard of in the past, has started sprouting out along the trendy districts, attracting crowds to sample what their favuorite Oppas and Unnis tastebuds are used to. Mujigae is one of them that is located in one of hippest part of the city in Cihampelas Walk and we made this restaurant our first meal of our trip.

Taiwan is a perennial favorite destination of Singaporeans and Taiwanese cuisine is in every nook and cranny of the local food scene. From bubble tea to extra large fried chickens, it has entrenched itself in our palates. Eat at Taipei opened its doors for some time and we checked it out to see if it lives up with its other Taiwanese counterparts.

Located at the ground floor of the indoor stadium wtih al fresco seats facing the Kallang river Is Myra's. The restaurant serves up mexican fare and cuisine from North Indian. The quirky interiors make a good representation of both with its murals and decor. We check it out to see if the food served is any good.

Bayswater kitchen is the new brainchild of Prive group which replaces the defunct prive grill. Located in an island of its own, the restaurant lets you forget abut the hustle and bustle of city life and grants you the view of expansive marina where the rich dock their yachts. We head over to check out the place after some shopping at Vivocity.

One of the premier dining destinations on the 13th floor of Doubletree by Hilton Johor Bahru is the Tosca Italian Trattoria restaurant. Offering views of the straits and a decadent atmosphere, this is definitely one of the classy establishments you can dine in Johor Bahru. We check it out during Christmas day and see if it is worth its dough.

Craving for some Zhi Char while you are in Johor Bahru? San Low restaurant is a good option that is 5 mins away from the causeway and served up decently priced seafood and cooked Chinese meals.

Tucked in the 3rd floor of UE square where foot traffic is low lies Shin Minori. Despite hidden from plain sight and in a quiet mall, the restaurant pulls in the crowds and it will not be easy to get a table without a reservation. We check out the restaurant for their lunch buffet and find out what is the hype.

Miyahara is so popular in Taichung that it has since open another branch in Fourth Credit Union (第四信用合作社). The cafe seems like a scene out of a fairy tale with high ceilings, elaborate furniture and intricate decorations. If you are a fan of magical tales, this will definitely be an intriguing place for you especially with its interesting history of being an eye hospital.

Located in the North coast of Taiwan overseeing the beautiful beaches is the Oia Cafe 伊亞藝術咖啡館. Furry little Alpaca roam around the cafe enjoying themselves chasing after children and biting everything in sight awaits you as you enter the cafe. The white fluffy animal are a joy to behold and what better way to enjoy them first hand.

The Emperor Restaurant established itself with a focus on serving delectable and fresh seafood. It is popular among foreigners especially those who follow the hallyu wave with popular program "Running men" dining here when they filmed in Taiwan. If it was fit for Korean celebrities, we definitely have to  check it out ourselves.

Angelina, no this post has nothing to do with Ms Jolie,  open up with much hype and fanfare back in 2015. The restaurant has managed to outlast many restaurants and cafe in the cut throat business it is in. The brand celebrates more than a century of history since its inception in 1903. Singapore is proud to host its first South East Asia branch serving up its famous Mont-Blanc and hot chocolate . With its premium price tag, we check out if the restaurant is worth a visit.

Wild honey is a wildly popular restaurant serving up breakfast options from all over the world. 3 restaurants have since opened in classy districts since its inception in 2009 is a testament of the popularity. Be it savory options or a sweet snack, seafood, meat or vegetarian you can find it in Wild Honey. We head to their less busy but still posh branch at Scotts Square to check it out.

Hana Japanese Restaurant is tucked in a quiet little corner of Orchard road and is famous for their floating noodles which appears to be floating in the air. Having bitten by the Omakase bug in Sou Omakase in Kuala Lumpur, where the dishes are served intricately and artfully like western style fine dining, we decided to head to Hana and see what the chef has to offer.

Hakata is a city in the Eastern side of Japan located in the Fukuoka prefecture and they are famous for the Tonkotsu Ramen. Think broken pork bones simmering for days till a smooth and creamy white broth. The end result is a bowl of Ramen heaven for diners and we are here at Hakata Ikkousha to try it out.

Japanese buffets are one of the best indulgence with free flow of Sashimi, sushi, ramen and many other Japanese goodies. Service and an empty stomach is what left to make the best of a visit and we left plenty of space in our tummies before embarking on our journey to Momoya.

The humble Soba dish is a great way for friends to gather over a meal and Yomoda Soba in the Japan Food town of Wisma Atria is the perfect place to do that. Apart from Soba, noodle dishes like Udon and rice bowls are also served.

Fried chicken is one of my comfort food and Korean cuisine is another one of my favorite. Jinja chicken marry up the 2 to bring you delicious Korean fried chicken(KFC) and also favorites like JJajiangmyeon(Bean paste noodles) and Mandu(dumplings). I cant resist and had to check it out.

Azuma is a decent Japanese restaurant with a sushi conveyor belt much like our Sakae Sushi in Singapore. We check out how it fares with many off its other competitors that are just around the corner.
