Food review: Sindang Reret Restaurant Bandung - Serene and pocket friendly Restaurant near Kawah Putih

Located on the road to Kawah Putih, this is a great rest stop for lunch with the lovely countryside air and serene atmosphere. It was a joy to dine overseeing the pond that is well stocked with free spirited fishes swimming about.

Food review: Tjendana bistro Bandung Indonesia ~ Zi char style restaurant with the Indonesian twist (English menu available)

As Singaporeans, we are always on the hunt for good food. We scouted Tjendana bistro on our trip to Bandung and it was a great choice. Pocket friendly prices relative to our Singapore dollar, this restaurant serves up quality Zi Char style dishes in a classy setting. Being chinese speaking, Bahasa is a challenge for me but the English menu really helps to make the ordering process a breeze.With all the ticks in place, there is no reason not to visit the restaurant so off we went!

Food review: Mujigae Cihampelas walk Bandung ~ Indonesian rendition of Korean cusine

The korean wave has shown its might and extended its reach into the West Java archipelago. Korean restaurants, unheard of in the past, has started sprouting out along the trendy districts, attracting crowds to sample what their favuorite Oppas and Unnis tastebuds are used to. Mujigae is one of them that is located in one of hippest part of the city in Cihampelas Walk and we made this restaurant our first meal of our trip.

Food review: (ENTERTAINER) Eat at Taipei @ Tampines Mall ~ a very forgettable experience

Taiwan is a perennial favorite destination of Singaporeans and Taiwanese cuisine is in every nook and cranny of the local food scene. From bubble tea to extra large fried chickens, it has entrenched itself in our palates. Eat at Taipei opened its doors for some time and we checked it out to see if it lives up with its other Taiwanese counterparts.

Food Review: [ENTERTAINER] Myra's @ Indoor Stadium Mexican and Indian in one roof

Located at the ground floor of the indoor stadium wtih al fresco seats facing the Kallang river Is Myra's. The restaurant serves up mexican fare and cuisine from North Indian. The quirky interiors make a good representation of both with its murals and decor. We check it out to see if the food served is any good.

Food review: Bayswater kitchen @ Keppel bay Habourfront ~ Waterfront Seafood dining

Bayswater kitchen is the new brainchild of Prive group which replaces the defunct prive grill. Located in an island of its own, the restaurant lets you forget abut the hustle and bustle of city life and grants you the view of expansive marina where the rich dock their yachts. We head over to check out the place after some shopping at Vivocity.

Food review: Tosca Italian Trattoria @ Doubletree Johor Bahru (JB) ~ Premier dining destination in JB

One of the premier dining destinations on the 13th floor of Doubletree by Hilton Johor Bahru is the Tosca Italian Trattoria restaurant. Offering views of the straits and a decadent atmosphere, this is definitely one of the classy establishments you can dine in Johor Bahru. We check it out during Christmas day and see if it is worth its dough.
