Hotel Pullman KLCC is a luxury 5 star hotel right smack in the middle of the Kuala Lumpur shopping belt. The great location make it an awesome base to explore what the city have to offer. The comfort and quality of service provided a restful and luxurious stay.
Located just behind Pavilion shopping mall, you will be taken to the shopping belt in 2 minutes. We totally enjoyed our stay in the premium deluxe room which is housed in a corner unit. The semi circular shaped room is 54sqm and offers plenty of living space.
We arrived around noon time on a Sunday but the hotel was still doing up the final touches to our room thus we head for our lunch first. The hotel lobby looked grand and exuberant a feeling of class.
We arrived back at the hotel to check into our room and we had a very pleasant surprise with the size it offered. The King size bed was very comfortable and the quality of linen was top notch.
There is a large 48inch high definition tv with cable channels which provided sufficient entertainment.
A pair of bottled water is provided on a daily basis and capsule coffee from Coffee Bean is provided to guests.
A large working desk is made available if there is any need to get work done. The ladies will be very happy with the posh looking makeup table.
The restroom is huge and very clean. The showering amenities provided are from La bottega which manufactures luxury amenities for hotels and is associated with perfumes from Bottega Veneta and Roberto Cavalli. The only minor complaint I had, was that the hairdryer was rather weak.
A pity there is no rain shower in the restroom. The bathtub on the other hand provided the much need soak after a long day shopping in the city.
If you think, this is the end of all the rooms, well no. Our unit does not give you a space to put your clothes but a walk in closet is offered! The robes are comfortable and the safe was also useful for keeping your valuables.
The semi circular room provided a view of the beautiful pool and also the sights of the city.
We continued to explore the hotel after and discovered several nice lounges and restaurants.
The pool is beautiful both in the day and night.
The bar had a one for one cocktails and we thought it was a good idea to down some gin tonic before our dinner at a cool price of RM38/$12.95SGD for 2.
We check out the well equiped gym after our drinks and also found that there is a games room which will provide the much needed entertainment for the kids.
Wifi is not necessary the fastest but that good enough for surfing Facebook.
