We decided to come to JB one day prior to the good friday holidays to avoid the crowds and our decision had never been better.
Walking in the hot weather was daunting and we were so
happy to finally arrived at the cafe. RRR cafe was empty at around 4pm and we were able to selected our
desired table.Stepping through the front door. we immediately noticed the cafe is theme differently from all the previous establishments we have been too. We were intrigued by the indie and alternative music which compliment the hipster vibe well. The cafe did not have the beautiful instamgramable white washed walls but it was intricately decorated.
The cafe may not appeal to the OCD and appear messy to some with various things lying all over the place but I kind of like the feel of this place.
The menu appear to be one of the props from Pirates of the Caribbean which defines the norm we are used too.
We cooled ourselves down with an iced mocha and iced hazelnut latte. Both drinks tasted decent our
Tiramisu with Caramel glaze pie was a great addition with our drinks. The pie had a nice crust and was not too sweet.
Price wise is rather attractive with the Singapore exchange rate and this will be the perfect place for the hipster in you. During the busy days, I can easily imagine patrons with dreadlocks and dressed in bohemian style which will be interesting for people watching! Upon leaving, we noticed there is a staircase that leads to a 2nd floor which we will check out the next time we come!
