The BCC Hotel is one of the most highly rated hotels in Hotel Booking websites and in my opinion the best 4 star hotel in Nagoya area in Batam. Everything that a traveler requires is within reach in minutes. BCS Mall is a short 2 minutes walk away where there is plenty of restaurants, a supermarket and lots of shopping options. An outdoor food court is just beside the BCS mall for travelers interested to sample the local cuisine. All in all making The BCC hotel an ideal location for rest and relaxation.
The hotel is popular with Singaporeans coming over to enjoy the weekend and we were privileged enough to stay at their premier suite for 2 nights during the Christmas period, having made a booking 1 month in advance. The hotel is usually fully booked during peak seasons so prior booking is recommended. The hotel is suitable for couples but can also accommodate large families with their apartments which offers enough space with a 3+1 setting for the largest option.
We arrived at around 11am and we took around 9min for checking in, including waiting time. The official check in time starts from 2pm but we were lucky enough to have our rooms ready upon checking in.
The premier suite is nothing short of being awesome and was 61sqm large. The rooms is modern, clean and was very well furnished with a king bed and sitting areas. The highlight of the room will be the see through toilet containing the ultimate luxury of your own private Jacuzzi.

For people who desired privacy, there are curtains that can be drawn in the restrooms. The amenities provided were of reasonable quality but were not of any brand..Hand Towels were folded nicely which added a nice touch. Separate shower facilities is available and have my favorite rain shower head.
The only issue I have with the magnificent restroom is that the drainage of the shower is not efficient enough and water will seep through the cracks below the glass door, making the whole toilet wet after taking a shower.

not working. The safe was also not secured to the walls so it can be
carried away defeating its purpose.

provided cable channels but the signal was not so good and not all the
channels listed is available. A seating area was located at the side of the room that can be double up as a day bed.

Wifi is of decent speed and we were able to surf the internet and use whatsapp without any glitches.
We ordered room service at around 9pm for some drinks and was cheated on the price. Our bill came slightly higher than the indicated prices(40,000idr vs 62,000idr for the margarita and 65,000idr vs 70,000idr) The staff mentioned that the drinks had to come from the KTV as their restaurant is already closed. I did not want to argue too much over a few dollars to spoil the evening and paid what was on the bill. For those keen to order from the room service, it might be good to double confirm the price. Do note that I have to pay cash and cannot settle the bill during check out.
Service as usual is not the most reliable in Batam and our drink arrived after 27min even though we were promised 15mins over the phone. The room service menu have a good selection of food and drinks which are affordable for Singaporean standards. The cocktails are strong and gave us the much need relaxation.
As usual we tested the response time of the house keeper staff by requesting shower gel but we were instead brought soap instead and that took a disappointing 1h 10mins. On the topic of house keeping, our bath towels for the first night was fine but the 2nd day, they did not smell pleasant and we found stains which dampen our moods.
Suite guests are entitled to have "high tea" at the lobby restaurant, Kuriya from 1130am - 5pm. The "high tea" was nothing to shout out with only some cakes and spring rolls but they are totally not worth the calories. If you are thirsty after shopping at the nearby BCS mall, it can be a option to sit down and have a cup of tea before heading back to your room. Patrons who wish to enjoy this service have to pay 50,000idr/$5.20 per pax which is totally not worth it.

Gym and swimming pool is available and was reasonably clean. Breakfast for suite guests is at the Kuriya restaurant. I am not sure if it was because the restaurant was full but we were offered the private rooms to have our breakfast. Lots of local food are available but quality was lacking.
We check out around 9am and that took a quick 3mins. We had a bit of luggage and did not bother getting a taxi. Instead, we took the hotel's car to harbour bay terminal and that cost a reasonable 70,000idr/$7.25. This is compared with walking to BCS and to take a taxi at 50,000idr/$5.20.

Nice place you got there. I'm pretty sure you had a good time since the place is so nice and relaxing. I also love their interiors and the ambiance. You should also try visiting the premium hotels in Manila. I'm sure you'll love it too. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
