Japanese buffets are one of the best indulgence with free flow of Sashimi, sushi, ramen and many other Japanese goodies. Service and an empty stomach is what left to make the best of a visit and we left plenty of space in our tummies before embarking on our journey to Momoya.
The restaurant is not the most accessible and you will have to change buses (Service 2, 9, 48) from Tenah Merah MRT station if you are not driving. Parallel parking is available for those commuting by car but spaces are also limited. Despite the inconvenience, the place is still packed for Sashimi and buffet lovers which is definitely a good sign. Reservations are highly recommended.
Tables are set at a reasonable distance apart to give patrons not feeling cramped and service is prompt and servers are available when you need to refill your orders.
Ocha (Green tea) served hot or cold are free flow at $2 per cup.
The menu is fairly extensive with plenty to choose from.
If you are lucky enough or unlucky due to space constraints, you can seat in front of the sushi chef and watch them slice up the Sashimi expertly.
Its a no brainer to start with the Sashimi Moriwase which was served quickly. The slices were thick and were fairly fresh.
We love the beautiful shape of the wasabi when it is served to us.
Enough about me blabbering and I will let the pictures do the talking.

As with variety, there will definitely be hits and misses and the same goes likewise for Momoya. The service is decent and the entire dining experience can be considered good. This is especially true for sashimi lovers. That being said, I will not come all the way down if I live in the west just to try the food here.
