For superhero fans, Hungry Heros will satisfy both your tastebuds and also awaken the fanboy/fan girl instincts in you. The owners has amassed a huge collection of superhero figures, some of which are life sized and makes it feel like we are visiting a superhero museum.
The restaurant is located in a 2 shophouse in the little India vicinity and you will not miss the bright signboard of the place.
A ginormous collection of figurines, posters decorated the restaurant. The inner child in us was brought out and we had an amazing time snapping pictures of the enchanting place.
The first floor had a different kind of ambience but was similarly very beautifully decorated.
No space was wasted and even the walkway along the restrooms had batman looking after you while you tinkle.
Our table was at the second floor and it was an amazing experience to dine with the superheros.
The attention to detail was impressive and even the place mats were made to look like a newspaper cutting from a marvel action movie.
The missus was not in the mood to drink and went with the honey lemon which was not watered down. I had a glass of the house red wine at an amazing price of $7 per glass.
The missus once again did not disappoint and went to enjoy her favourite salmon. It was delightfully seared to a crisp and goes well with the sauce provided.
After the savories, we decided to pleasure our sweet tooth with the chocolate brownie. The brownie was acceptable and came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Before leaving, the missus decided to try pick a fight with Captain America.
For such a place, you will definitely think we had to pay a premium to enjoy our dinner but the prices were quite reasonable! The place is a crowd pleaser and works wonders for a friends outing. The menu is decent and service acceptable. Entertainer app users have 1 for 1 mains making our already wonderful experience more awesome than ever.
