Food Review: [ENTERTAINER] Arteastiq @ Plaza Singapura - Food that is arteastiqly delicous

Arteastiq is a boutique tea house with a chic and upscale restaurant that you wont be surprised to see Tai tai having hi tea. They have a extensive tea menu filled with various artisan teas that are not only instagram worth but also very delicious.

We arrived at around 630pm with a beautiful tea set sitting at the entrance of the restaurant. We were quickly lead to a rather empty restaurant apart from the window facing plush sofa seats occupied.

If you are keen to have good seats with a nice view, I will recommend coming early and not settled for the "normal seats" like us. The restaurant is beautifully designed with classy looking furniture and feels sophisticated and upscale, Service on the other hand was slightly disappointing as we could not find any service crew when we are ready to order.

We decided to try the new tea menu, Fizzy Earlgrey Honey which was a delight to our taste buds. The pot of tea is sufficient for sharing if one is not there to just enjoy artisan tea. It served as a good dinner beverage for the both of us.

Our famished tummies must have growl so loudly that the chefs heard us and our food came shortly after our tea. I had striploin steak seared to a medium doneness. The cut of meat was a decent size and was served with Béarnaise poached egg. Some sweet potato fries and greens also compliment the dish well.

8/10 Striploin steak

The beef was seared with some herbs which i believed to be rosemary and tasted very good. The poach egg was great to have on its on but made the beef even more beautifully after using it as a dip. The buttery and almost cheesy Béarnaise sauce is a match made in heaven combined with the steak, tasted heavenly!

Missus had a lesson in gastronomy with the salmon wellington which was both a pastry and salmon dish. Puff pastry wrapped the salmon and baked to a crisp. The salmon was able to retain its firmness and it was absolutely a joy dipping every bite to the mushroom and capers pate (sauce). Some asparagus and potatos provided the much needed greens which is otherwise a very sinful dish.

Salmon Wellington 8/10

Arteastiq is a place I will come back again for its excellent but decently priced food. Coupled with the delicious artisan tea, it was simply a joy to dine at this beautiful restaurant. It is a perfect place for couples to have a romantic dinner date and also very nice for friends to catch up over some nice tea. The only criticism I have is the service crew never walks around to check on the patrons which marred what was otherwise a perfect evening.

Armed with the entertainer app, we were able to have 1 for 1 mains and save a good $27
