Academy, Roastery, Cafe, is a 3 in one cafe where the top Baristas in Singapore gather together to serve you the smooth tasting cuppa you yearned every single morning. Champion of the Singapore National Brewers' Cup and also the National Barista champion is behind the bar concocting the perfect brew and patrons will be in for a delight!
The cafe was filled with patrons even at 3pm Saturday but we were lucky to be able to secure seats. The cafe is not large but provides ample space for coffee lovers to enjoy the cup of perk-me-up. Kudos to the owners who did not place tables too close to each other and patrons does not have to listen to the other tables conversation unintentionally.
We were stuffed and decided to just relax and enjoy a cuppa and also have some cakes to share. Missus order the flat white which was smooth and had a slightly acidic aftertaste. I ordered the Piccolo Latte which is not found in many local cafes but I understand a very popular drink in Australia.
Sipping the Piccolo latte gives a jolt to your senses as you experienced the sourish acidic taste first hand but not overbearing like an espresso. The smooth and full bodied drink send grins to my face after every sip.

To make our life a little less bitter, we order the chocolate fudge cake which was kindly warmed up to reveal a thick liquid top.

After our relaxation at the cafe, patrons can head out and take some shot with the murals outside the cafe.
We will definitely be back again to try out the food menu and for those whom are into having great tasting coffee, this will definitely be the place to go. The best part is that patrons do not pay any premium despite being a champion's brew.
