Food review: Sukhothai Kitchen - Thai food in the east

Sukhothai is humble eatery located in bedok town center just across the road from bedok mall. The restaurant offers a decent menu of thai dishes at affordable prices.

We arrived at the restaurant at around 715pm on a Thursday evening. While the restaurant was not full, it did have a good number of diners which raise our hopes that they serve decent food. Service was decent and we were quickly offered a table. However, they did forget our drinks and only check on our orders after i gave the waitress several disapproving glances. Our expectations proved too much for the eatery to handle and i shall just leave the pictures to do the talking.

Stir fried vermicelli with seafood
6.5/10
The vermicelli tasted slightly bland but thankfully the dried chilli flakes was there to save the day.

Stir fried Hor fun with seafood and chicken
6/10
The chicken was really dry and the Hor Fun was rather tasteless. Very untypical of thai food which places an emphasis on flavor and taste.

Preserved turnip(chai po) Omelette
6.8/10
Decent tasting omelette combining savoury and delightful sweet taste.

 Thai milk tea
7/10

We shall await the restaurant to clean up its act before making another attempt to try them again.
